Welcome to Owens Mental Health! We’re a psychiatric mental health care service treating patients in Seattle and throughout Washington State. Weโ€™re here to help you with determining your diagnosis and medication management. We’ll provide you the support you need along the way. We know seeking psychiatric care can be hard so we create a warm atmosphere and strive to provide the highest quality care possible. Making sure your needs are met is of upmost importance to us!

Washington State mandates some in-person appointments for patients taking a controlled substance. We will discuss this during your sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see you if I have more than one mental health condition?

Itโ€™s common to have more than one condition at the same time. Weโ€™ll look at everything and work with you to design a treatment plan that addresses all of your needs.

Absolutely. We offer telehealth appointments so you can receive the care you need from the comfort of your home or wherever you have privacy. Please note, Washington State requires some in-person appointments for patients taking a controlled substance. Weโ€™ll discuss this during your sessions.

Everyoneโ€™s mental health journey is different. Some people feel better after a few months, while others need ongoing support. Weโ€™ll work together to discuss your progress and adjust your treatment plan over time.

Right now, we wonโ€™t diagnose autism. However, weโ€™re more than happy to work with individuals on the spectrum.ย 

We accept most major insurance carriers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, First Choice, HMA, Premera, Life Wise, Regence and Kaiser HMO and PPO. We currently do not accept UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, or Medicaid, but we will provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If you donโ€™t have insurance or would prefer to pay cash, we charge $300 for an intake appointment and between $100 and $150 for follow-ups. Learn more about insurance and billing.
